Job Title: Qualified Social Worker – Rotherham – Mental Health team
Location: Rotherham
Rate:£33 per hour
We are currently seeking an experienced and Qualified Social Workers to join a busy Mental Health Team based in Rotherham.
What will your responsibilities be?
As a Qualified Social Worker in the Mental Health Team, you will conduct comprehensive assessments to identify mental health issues and determine appropriate interventions. You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address clients’ mental health needs, providing individual, family, and group counselling services to support clients in managing their conditions. Your role will involve responding to mental health crises, offering immediate support and intervention. You will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive care. Advocating for clients’ needs and rights, you will ensure they receive necessary services and support. Additionally, you will maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, treatment plans, and client progress. Connecting clients with community resources and support services will be essential to enhance their well-being. Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in mental health care and participating in professional development opportunities will also be part of your responsibilities.

Qualifications and Experiences:
To be successful in this role you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level, and have post-qualified experience. In this role you will provide high quality assessment and intervention to service users experiencing a wide range of mental health problems, promoting recovery and independence to identify appropriate pathways and treatment plans with service users.
