Role: Qualified Social Worker in the Older People and Physical Disabilities Team

Pay Rate: £33.76 per hour

Vitalis is recruiting a Qualified Social Worker for the Older People and Physical Disabilities Team in Southwark.

Responsibilities and Benefits:

• Work on varied and challenging cases supporting older adults and physically disabled individuals, including complex mental capacity work, safeguarding, and assessments under the Care Act 2014.
• The initial contract is for 3 months, with potential for permanent employment.

Team Overview

The team handles long-term complex social work interventions, working with individuals with concurrent mental health and substance misuse needs, including Court of Protection applications and safeguarding inquiries.

Candidate Requirements

Experience working with adults with complex needs in the community setting is preferred, with a minimum of 3-4 years post-qualification statutory experience.
