Job Description

Qualified Social Worker, Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council, Children Front Door Intake Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children's Social Work team.

The responsibilities will include:

1. Support Children's Services Single Point of Contact
2. Respond to new referrals
3. Undertake assessments
4. Carry out Section 47 investigations across NPT
5. Liaise with other professionals
6. 37 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)
7. 3 month Temporary Contract
8. Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance

The successful candidate will need to hold a DipSW or equivalent, must be registered with the HCPC, have a current DBS, and be a car driver.
