Responsibilities:

As an Older Adults Mental Health Social Worker, your responsibilities include:

• Understanding and applying the Care Act, Mental Health Act (MHA), and Mental Capacity Act (MCA)
• Assessing and reviewing clients outside of the borough to meet their mental health needs
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary professionals to provide holistic care

Qualifications and Skills:

• Good understanding of the Care Act, MHA, and MCA
• Strong communication skills, including report writing
• Knowledge of mental disorders in older adults
