Job Description:

Job Title: Qualified Social Worker – Safeguarding Team

Location: London Borough of Haringey

Rate: £35.00

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Team Manager in managing a Safeguarding Team to deliver high-quality customer services related to adult social care and safeguarding.
  • Working collaboratively with other managers across Adult Services and the wider health and social care system to maximize independence and improve outcomes for service users.
  • Referring individuals for assessments such as Care Act, Human Rights, Risk, and Carers Assessments to support those with complex needs.
  • Providing expert social care advice and support to social care professionals in the Safeguarding Team.
  • Ensuring timely completion of all Adult at risk enquiries and proper transfer to other teams when appropriate.
  • Providing operational leadership and support to meet Key Performance Indicators as directed by the Team Manager.
