Qualified Social Worker, Learning Disability Team

Pay rate: £30.66 per hour

Vitalis is recruiting a Qualified Social Worker for a Learning Disability Team in Blackpool. This role offers the opportunity to work within Adult Social Care, supporting adults and young people with learning disabilities through assessments and reviews. The team collaborates with Blackpool Council and NHS staff, providing direct support and commissioning services.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday, 9am – 5pm, and Fridays, 9am – 4.30pm, based at Blackpool Council Bickerstaffe Offices. The role involves working with adults and young people, completing Care Act assessments and reviews, and is line-managed by the Learning Disability Team Manager.

Ideal candidates will have excellent communication and organizational skills, a strong knowledge of the Care Act 2014, and experience in safeguarding, risk management, and care management. Experience working with adults with learning disabilities and their families is essential. The successful candidate will be passionate, collaborative, and a proactive team player.
