Qualifications

Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Stockport Council's Children with Disabilities Team. This is a full-time role, offering an amazing pay rate of £37 per hour.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a caseload of children and young people with disabilities, ensuring their needs are met through assessments and care planning.
  2. Work closely with health, education, and multi-agency partners to provide a coordinated approach.
  3. Undertake safeguarding investigations and ensure children are protected under CIN, CP, and LAC plans.
  4. Support families by providing advice, guidance, and access to short breaks and direct payments.
  5. Facilitate smooth transitions into adult services, working alongside Adult Social Care teams.
  6. Attend multi-agency meetings, reviews, and court proceedings where required.

Requirements:

  1. Social Work Degree or equivalent
  2. Enhanced DBS
  3. Social Work England registered
