Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting experienced Qualified Social Workers to join a busy team at a Conwy-based Child Protection team. To be successful in this role, you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level, and have post-qualified experience.

Primary Responsibilities as a Child Protection Social Worker:

  • Managing a diverse caseload of Children which covers Child Protection, Child in Need, and sometimes Children within Proceedings. The level in proceedings can be discussed.
  • Attending to Section 47 enquiries.
  • Completing Single Assessments.
  • Completing Risk Assessments.
  • Completing Parenting Assessments.
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals/agencies to meet the identified needs of children, young people, and their families including the Police and Education Services.
  • Completing work under the Public Law Outline (PLO).
  • Completing Court reports/Assessments.

What we are looking for in a Qualified Social Worker:

  • Social Work England registration.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
  • Hold a full UK license.
  • Post-qualified experience.
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work.
