Qualified Social Worker Needed in Hull!

Are you a passionate Qualified Social Worker with experience working with children? Looking for a rewarding role where you can truly make a difference? We've got the perfect opportunity for you!

About the Role:
Join us as a Fostering Social Worker based in Hull, supporting children and families through mainstream fostering and kinship care. Your work will also include some assessments, including viability checks - a varied and impactful role!

Key Details:
Location: Hull (office-based)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM (37 hours per week)
Pay: Up to £35.48 per hour
Contract: Temporary but ongoing - offering stability with flexibility
Easy compliance and confirmed placements - so you can focus on the work that matters!

What You'll Do:

  • Provide support to mainstream fostering families and some kinship carers

  • Conduct assessments, including viability assessments for kinship placements ️️

  • Work mainly office-based with some out-of-hours visits and attendance at events

  • Help children find safe, loving homes and provide ongoing support to carers ️

Who We're Looking For:
️ Qualified Social Worker with experience in children's services and fostering
️ Confident working both in the office and during some out-of-hours visits
️ Motivated, compassionate, and ready to make a real difference
️ Strong communication and assessment skills
