Qualified Social Worker required for Child Protection Team – Dorset - £38ph

• Position: Qualified Social Worker – Child Protection Team
• Location: Dorset, East Purbeck and Weymouth
• Salary: £38ph
• Contract Type: Full-Time and on-going contract

About the Role:
The role requires a qualified social worker with experience in child protection. Candidates should be adept at working with children and families on Child Protection plans, have experience with care proceedings, and be comfortable attending court proceedings as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will be completing child and family assessments, working with children subject to child in need (complex) child protection, pre proceedings, care proceedings, private proceedings through to adoption.
• You will be part of the duty rota responding to risk and participating in strategy discussions and section 47 enquiries.
• You will work alongside substance recovery workers, domestic abuse workers and colleagues trained to repair and rebuild relationships reducing our children on the edge of care.
