Qualified Social Worker
Child Protection Chair

Location: North West

Pay rate: £45 per hour

We are looking for experienced and passionate Qualified Social Worker and Child Protection Chair. In this role, you will chair independently initial and review child protection conferences, children looked after reviews, and foster carer annual reviews. Ensuring all these reviews are within statutory time limits and conform to statutory guidelines is essential.

This is a full-time, office-based position. All candidates must be able to work on-site, as previous recruitment issues involved candidates unable to meet this requirement.

In accordance with social care legislation and local government requirements, you will support the delivery of person-centred, safe, and effective social care services. Using your professional knowledge and experience, you will make assessments and decisions about appropriate interventions, establishing and maintaining relationships with service users and agencies to meet their needs.

You will be committed to achieving positive and sustainable outcomes for children, striving to provide the best possible results and supporting children and families to thrive and flourish. Our priority is to protect the vulnerable and ensure efficiency.

Ideal candidate will be:

  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
  • Experienced with children and families, including vulnerable groups

  • Skilled at building meaningful relationships
