Overview

Job Title: Experienced Social Workers, Children's Safeguarding Team

Location: West Midlands

Rate: £38

Contract: Temporary, 6 months

Candidates will require 3 years permanent experience with an English Local Authority

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of children, addressing Child Protection, Child in Need, and occasionally, Children within Proceedings. The level of involvement in proceedings can be discussed.
• Attend Section 47 enquiries.
• Complete Single Assessments, Risk Assessments, and Parenting Assessments.
• Collaborate with professionals and agencies, such as the Police and Education Services, to meet the needs of children, young people, and their families.
• Undertake work under the Public Law Outline (PLO) and prepare comprehensive Court reports and assessments.
