Qualified Social Worker

Location: Greater Manchester

Pay rate: £35 per hour

We are looking for experienced and passionate Social Workers to join a dedicated Cared for Children Team. This role involves home working and working within the local authority.

Working in accordance with social care legislation, you will support the delivery of person-centred, safe, and effective social care services. Using your professional knowledge, you will make assessments and decisions about interventions, establishing and maintaining relationships with service users and agencies to meet their needs.

You will be committed to ensuring positive outcomes for children and their families, striving to provide the best results and protecting the most vulnerable.

Ideal candidate:

• Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
• Experience working with children and vulnerable groups
• Knowledge of Child Protection legislation
• Strong communication, mediation, and negotiation skills
• Experience in multi-disciplinary, interagency work
• 4+ years qualified
