Job Title: Social Worker – Disabilities Team
Location: Cambridgeshire
Rate: Up to £32 per hour

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for registered and experienced Qualified Adult’s Social Workers to join a busy Disabilities Team based in Cambridgeshire.

What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will be assessing the needs of individuals with disabilities to develop personalized care plans, providing emotional and practical support to them and their families, and advocating for their rights in various settings, including healthcare and education. You will coordinate services with other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care, promote independence by helping individuals secure housing, employment, and education, and provide training and information to clients and their families about managing disabilities and accessing resources. Additionally, you will be responsible for safeguarding vulnerable individuals from abuse and neglect, taking appropriate action when necessary.

Qualifications and Experiences:
To be successful in this role you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level, and have post-qualified experience. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with adults with disabilities, have good assessments knowledge and have a confident and thorough understanding of all legislation.
