You can expect a fantastic salary of:

QSW - £36,648 - £40,221 / Experienced QSW - £40,221 - £44,428 / Advanced Practitioner - £44,428 - £48,474

Responsibilities:

QSW/Experienced QSW

  • Deliver effective services that promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people at various stages of their journey.
  • Have knowledge and experience of Safeguarding and of legislation, regulations and guidance relating to Children's social care together with an ability to assess and manage risk.
  • Duty.
  • Manage a complex caseload.
  • Work in conjunction with partner agencies to deliver effective planning for children and families.
  • Representing the Council at a range of meetings, proceedings and reviews as required.
  • Taking referrals from MASH.
  • Includes assessments and child in need intervention.

Advanced Practitioner

  • To support staff, including reflective and group supervision, assistance in reflecting on quality of performance as a team and for individuals within the service, and giving technical advice and guidance to staff.
  • Assisting the team manager in making sense of quality assurance feedback and data, promoting a learning culture sharing good practice and strengths as well as identifying areas for development and finding ways to ensure consistent high quality.
  • To model continual professional development and be accountable for the promotion of social work, good practice and learning from research.
  • The caseload is expected to be at approx. 60% to allow for the time and space to deliver the other elements of the role.

Requirements:

  • Social Work Qualification or equivalent
  • Social Work England registered
  • Enhanced DBS
