Job Description:

We are looking for experienced and passionate Social Workers to join a dedicated All Age Disabilities Team in North Wales. You will be responsible for managing cases, intervening with legal and procedural authority to protect vulnerable people, and supporting individuals and families to develop their capacities for independent living.

Working in accordance with social care legislation and local government requirements, you will support the delivery of person-centred, safe, and effective social care services. Using your professional knowledge and experience, you will make assessments and decisions about appropriate interventions. Establishing and maintaining relationships with service users and agencies, you will ensure services meet identified needs.

You will be committed to achieving positive and sustainable outcomes for children and families, striving to provide the best outcomes and ensuring their well-being and safety.

Perfect candidate will be:
  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
  • Experienced in working with children and families, including vulnerable groups
  • Knowledgeable of Child Protection legislation and issues
  • Creative, flexible, and forward-thinking
  • Experienced in Court, Children in Need, and Child Protection cases
  • Skilled in mediation and negotiation
  • Able to build meaningful relationships with children and families
  • Experienced in multi-disciplinary, interagency work
  • 2+ years qualified
