Qualified Social Worker - Advanced Practitioner

Location: West Midlands

Pay rate: £33.30 per hour

We are seeking experienced and passionate Qualified Advanced Practitioner Social Workers to join our dedicated Assessment Team in the West Midlands. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our client's assessment team within a local authority. You will uphold and champion best practices, supported by an experienced team manager. In this role, you will work in accordance with social care legislation and local government requirements, delivering person-centred, safe, and effective social care services. Using your professional knowledge, you will make assessments and decisions regarding appropriate interventions. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to establish and maintain relationships with service users and other agencies to meet their needs effectively.

You will be committed to achieving positive and sustainable outcomes through your interventions, striving to provide the best results for children. Your passion for supporting children and families will be vital in ensuring they thrive and flourish. Our priority is to protect the most vulnerable and operate efficiently.

Ideal Candidate:
  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
  • Experience working with children and families, including vulnerable groups
  • Creative, flexible, and forward-thinking approach
  • Knowledge of Child Protection legislation and issues
  • Continuous improvement mindset to achieve the best outcomes for children
  • Excellent mediation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build meaningful relationships with children and families
  • High-quality service commitment
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary, interagency settings
  • 4+ years qualified
