What you will do:

1. Hold and manage a complex and varied caseload, providing guidance and support in line with policies and legislation.
2. Undertake work within legislative frameworks, preparing reports and court representations as necessary.
3. Make complex decisions and manage risks within your caseload, utilising professional judgement and evidence-based tools.
4. Communicate effectively in complex or high-risk situations to ensure clarity and resolution.
5. Actively participate and represent the department in multidisciplinary forums, sometimes taking on the role of Chair.
6. Collaborate with service users, carers, and families, facilitating interagency safeguarding policies and procedures.
7. Conduct assessments, plan individual support plans, and coordinate responses to meet individual needs.
8. Monitor financial and service standards, ensuring services are within budget and meet identified needs.
