Qualified Social Worker

Adults - Community

Location: Merseyside

Pay rate: £46 per hour

Our client is looking for Qualified Adult Social Workers to join the Adults Community Team. All candidates must have previous experience in Adult Social Care and a good understanding of relevant legislation, including the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Human Rights Act, and Mental Health Act. This team handles hospital transfer and discharge, including referrals and complex safeguarding cases. Successful candidates will work across two hospitals within the authority, conducting Care Act assessments, safeguarding work, multi-agency collaboration, and duty functions.

In this role, you will support the delivery of person-centred, safe, and effective social care services, making assessments and decisions based on your professional knowledge and experience. You will establish and maintain relationships with service users and other agencies to ensure needs are met, working in accordance with social care legislation and local government requirements.

You will be committed to achieving positive and sustainable outcomes, striving to provide the best possible service for vulnerable individuals. Your passion for supporting adults and their families will be key to helping them thrive and flourish, with a focus on protection and efficiency.

Ideal Candidate:
  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
  • SW, CSS, DipSW, or Social Work Degree
  • Experience in Social Services Directorate or statutory/voluntary agencies
  • Dedicated to continuous improvement and delivering excellent outcomes
