Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on Experience)

About the Role:

Here at Teaching Personnel, we are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated Qualified Science Teacher to join one of our valued partner secondary schools in the Walsall area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an inspiring educator who is passionate about engaging students in Science and fostering a love for learning across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality Science lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
  • Assess, record, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement.
  • Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including those with additional needs.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in extracurricular activities and departmental development.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour, ensuring a positive and productive classroom atmosphere.

Role Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge across all Science disciplines (Biology, Chemistry and Physics).
  • A genuine passion for education and a commitment to supporting student success.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
