Based at one of our clients in Milton Keynes - a mainstream Secondary School, Supply Star Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to deliver engaging Science lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential). The successful candidate will foster curiosity, promote scientific thinking, and support pupils in achieving their full potential. Initially on a supply basis, with permanent positions available after a successful trial period.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
2. Utilize a variety of teaching strategies to support student progress and engagement.
3. Monitor and assess students' progress regularly.
4. Maintain high standards of classroom behavior and safety, especially during practical work.
5. Participate in department planning, meetings, and school-wide initiatives.
6. Contribute to enrichment activities and extracurricular science clubs.

Person Specification:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
2. A degree in a science-related subject.
3. Experience teaching Science at secondary level.
