Base pay range

Magisters Education is working in partnership with an amazing nursery based in Romford.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified, inspiring individual to join a privately run day nursery on a permanent full-time basis with an immediate start.

About the role:
  1. Qualified Level 3 practitioner based in the Pre School Room.
  2. Permanent full-time contract, working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, with various shift patterns between 7am and 6pm.
  3. Location: Romford, East London.
  4. Salary: Negotiable and competitive based on experience and qualifications.
Duties:
  1. Provide high-quality care and education to children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  2. Plan, implement, and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with EYFS.
  3. Collaborate with team members to create a warm, inclusive environment that supports individual needs.
  4. Communicate effectively with parents and carers about children’s progress and needs.
  5. Maintain accurate records of children’s development through observations linked to EYFS frameworks.
  6. Support daily nursery operations, including meal preparation, cleaning, and assisting with personal care.
  7. Uphold safeguarding policies and ensure children’s safety.
  8. Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  1. Full and relevant Early Years Qualification (Level 3 or above), recognized by the Department of Education.
  2. Clear enhanced DBS on the Update service or willingness to undergo a new check.
  3. Significant experience in an Early Years Nursery setting.
  4. Safeguarding Level 2 or higher (preferably).
  5. Full Paediatric First Aid Training (preferably).
