Flexicruit Ltd is seeking a Qualified Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join our client's team on a genuine long-term 5-year project across Hampshire. You will carry out plumbing, heating and gas-related works in occupied social housing properties with a professional service to residents.

The role covers the M3 Corridor and surrounding Hampshire towns, offers Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm, a company vehicle with fuel allowance, and an immediate start. Salary is £20-£25 per hour DOE.

Qualifications

• Must hold relevant Plumbing & Heating qualifications and Gas Safe registration.
• Strong 1st and 2nd fix plumbing experience.
• Experience with kitchen installations and adaptations.
• Good knowledge of hot, cold and waste systems.
• Experience with gas supply pipework and adaptations.
• Ability to diagnose issues and complete works independently.
• Understand health & safety and compliance requirements.
• Experience working in occupied properties, ideally within social housing.
• Good customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a variety of plumbing, heating and gas-related works in occupied properties.
• Perform 1st and 2nd fix plumbing tasks and kitchen installations.
• Install and adapt hot and cold-water supplies and waste systems.
• Carry out gas-related works and ensure safe gas supply pipework.
• Complete repairs and modifications to plumbing and heating systems.
• Manage general pipework alterations and adaptations.
• Identify and resolve plumbing and heating issues.
• Complete paperwork and certification as required.
• Work safely and professionally within residents' homes.

The Opportunity

An established and growing property maintenance company is looking for a Qualified Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join its team on a genuine long-term 5-year project across Hampshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer looking for consistent work, Monday-Friday hours and the security of a long-term contract, rather than short-term or unpredictable work.

You’ll be working within occupied social housing properties, carrying out a variety of plumbing, heating and gas-related works while delivering a professional service to residents.

The work is predominantly across the M3 Corridor and surrounding Hampshire areas, including Farnborough, Aldershot, Fleet, Basingstoke, Winchester, Eastleigh, Southampton, Gosport and Portsmouth.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be responsible for carrying out a variety of plumbing, heating and gas-related works, including:

• 1st and 2nd fix plumbing
• Kitchen installations and plumbing adaptations
• Installing and adapting hot and cold-water supplies
• Waste pipework and connections
• Gas supply pipework and adaptations
• Plumbing and heating repairs and modifications
• General pipework alterations and adaptations
• Identifying and resolving plumbing and heating issues
• Completing all required paperwork and certification
• Working safely and efficiently within occupied properties

You’ll be working in customers' homes, so you’ll need to be professional, respectful and comfortable communicating with residents.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for an experienced engineer who can work confidently across both plumbing and gas-related works.

You’ll ideally have:

• Relevant qualifications and experience as a Plumbing & Heating Engineer
• Appropriate Gas qualifications / Gas Safe registration
• Strong 1st and 2nd fix plumbing experience
• Experience with kitchen installations and adaptations
• Good knowledge of hot, cold and waste systems
• Experience with gas supply pipework and adaptations
• The ability to diagnose issues and complete works independently
• Good understanding of health & safety and compliance requirements
• Experience working in occupied properties, ideally within social housing
• Good customer service and communication skills
