Job summary

Flexicruit is seeking a Qualified Plumbing & Heating Engineer for a long-term, five-year project across Hampshire. The role offers consistent Monday–Friday hours, working on occupied social housing properties, with a company vehicle and fuel allowance discussed.

Immediate start available and a defined local patch within the M3 Corridor. The ideal candidate will have Plumbing & Heating qualifications, Gas Safe registration, and strong 1st/2nd fix experience, plus the ability to work independently

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications and experience as a Plumbing & Heating Engineer.
• Gas qualifications / Gas Safe registration.
• Strong 1st and 2nd fix plumbing experience.
• Experience with kitchen installations and adaptations.
• Good knowledge of hot, cold and waste systems.
• Experience with gas supply pipework and adaptations.
• Ability to diagnose issues and complete works independently.
• Good understanding of health & safety and compliance requirements.
• Experience working in occupied properties, ideally within social housing.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to complete paperwork and certification.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a variety of plumbing, heating and gas-related works.
• 1st and 2nd fix plumbing tasks.
• Kitchen installations and plumbing adaptations.
• Install and adapt hot and cold-water supplies.
• Manage waste pipework and connections.
• Gas supply pipework and adaptations.
• Carry out plumbing and heating repairs and modifications.
• Complete paperwork and certification accurately.
• Work safely within occupied properties and maintain a tidy site.
