Job Title: Qualified Physical Education Teacher
Location:

East of England, Essex, Southend-on-Sea

Job Type:

Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours

Salary:

£31650 - £43607 Per annum

Job Duties:
  • Plan, deliver and assess high-quality Physical Education lessons to students
  • Create engaging and inclusive lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with national educational standards
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and support as needed
  • Organise and supervise extracurricular sports activities and events
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support the overall development of students
Required Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Physical Education or a related field
  • Experience teaching Physical Education at the secondary school level
  • Strong knowledge of national curriculum requirements for Physical Education
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Up-to-date knowledge of teaching best practices in Physical Education
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
