About the Role

SAAF Education is currently seeking dynamic and enthusiastic Qualified PE Teachers to work across a range of secondary schools in South London and into Surrey. This is a flexible day-to-day supply role with the potential for long-term or permanent placements for the right candidates.

This role is ideal for passionate PE teachers who are looking for variety, flexibility, and the opportunity to build relationships with local schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Adapt quickly to different school environments and follow existing lesson plans where provided

  • Promote student participation and a positive attitude toward physical activity

  • Maintain good classroom management and ensure a safe and supportive learning environment

  • Liaise with school staff and contribute to the wider school community when in longer-term roles

Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Specialism or strong experience in teaching PE

  • Experience teaching in UK secondary schools

  • Strong behaviour management skills

  • Flexibility and adaptability

  • Willingness and ability to commute across South London and into Surrey
