Job summary

Maidenhead, Berkshire-based nursery is seeking a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to provide high-quality care and learning in line with the EYFS framework. The role requires a Level 3 qualification and nursery experience with a strong EYFS understanding.

You will observe progress, document development, and build strong partnerships with parents and colleagues. An enhanced DBS is expected or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (e.g., CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent).
• Previous experience working in a nursery or early years environment.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS and child development.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and observation skills.
• A nurturing, positive, and proactive approach.
• Committed to delivering Outstanding practice.
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework.
• Create and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities to support children's development.
• Observe, assess, and document children's progress, ensuring individual needs are met.
• Foster strong partnerships with parents/carers and colleagues to support each child's well-being.
• Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
• Contribute to the Outstanding practice and uphold the nursery's values, ethos, and standards.
• Support the safeguarding, health, and well-being of all children in your care.
