Job summary

Childbase Partnership is hiring a Qualified Nursery Practitioner (Level 2+). Based at Windmill Hill Day Nursery in Swindon, you will work in a 52‑week role with flexible full/part‑time hours and shifts from 07:30 to 18:30.

The role emphasizes strong EYFS practice, safeguarding, and building developmental opportunities for children through play, observation, and partnership with families.

Qualifications

• You hold a DfE approved early years qualification at level 2 or above.
• Knowledge of the EYFS to plan engaging activities and observe progress.
• You will safeguard and promote well-being for children in your care.
• Collaborative approach: communicate effectively with children, parents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement high‑quality learning through play.
• Observe, assess and record children’s progress as a Key Person.
• Safeguard and promote children’s well‑being and safety at all times.
• Collaborate with parents and teammates to support individual needs.
