Job summary

Childbase Partnership is hiring a Qualified Nursery Practitioner (Level 2+) for Julia Durbin Day Nursery in Headington, Oxford. The role is permanent with 18–40 hours/week across 52 weeks, offering shifts 07:00–18:30 and a £13.00–£16.22 hourly rate plus a £2,000 welcome bonus.

Salary ranges £27,040–£33,737.60 per year (pro-rata). Must hold Level 2+ EY qualification and be committed to safeguarding, learning through play, and strong family partnerships.

Qualifications

• DfE approved early years qualification at Level 2 or above.
• Knowledge of the EYFS to plan and implement high-quality activities.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
• Strong collaboration with parents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging activities to promote learning through play.
• Observe, assess and record children's progress.
• Provide a safe, caring and inclusive environment for all children.
