Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a passionate Qualified Nursery Practitioner to support children in Rochdale's nurseries. The role requires a Level 2/3 Early Years qualification or at least six months of nursery experience, plus a good knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and strong behaviour management.

You will engage with children, support their development through play, and work closely with teams to create a safe, caring learning environment that promotes confidence and milestone achievement.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 3 preferred).
• At least 6 months of nursery experience or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of the UK EYFS curriculum.
• Excellent behaviour management and the ability to build positive relationships with children.
• Friendly, engaging and proactive approach to supporting children's development.

Responsibilities

• Support children in their early years of development through play and structured learning activities.
• Collaborate with nursery teams to maintain a safe, nurturing learning environment.
• Assist in implementing EYFS activities and support plans for individual children.
