Job description

Job Overview

Qualified Nursery Practitioner (Level 3 or above) – Emscote House Day Nursery, Leamington Spa (CV32 5DE). Contract: Permanent, 20-40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. Working pattern: Varied shifts Monday‑Friday between 07:30‑18:30.

Salary: £30,700.80‑£33,737.60 per annum (pro‑rata) – £14.76‑£16.22 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Work as a Key Person planning and implementing high‑quality, engaging activities that promote learning through play.
• Observe, assess and record children’s progress in line with the EYFS.
• Advocate for safeguarding, ensuring every child feels safe, valued and happy and their well‑being is promoted.
• Collaborate with children, parents and colleagues, effectively communicating and building strong and positive relationships.

Qualifications

• DfE‑approved early years qualification at Level 3 or above.

Requirements

• Must currently reside within a commutable distance of the nursery and hold suitable Right to Work in the UK.
• Right to Work check required – VISA sponsorship is not available.
• Enhanced DBS check required (safer recruitment checks).
