Job summary

Cedars Day Nursery in Leighton Buzzard is seeking a qualified Nursery Practitioner (Level 3+) for a permanent role. 37.5–40 hours per week across 52 weeks, with varied shifts 07:30–18:30 Monday–Friday. Salary range £27,289.60–£30,929.60 per year (pro‑rata) or £13.12–£14.87 per hour.

The role focuses on high-quality early years provision, safeguarding, and strong partnerships with families while contributing to a collaborative team and ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Qualified early-years professional with a DfE approved Level3 or above qualification.
  • Knowledge of the EYFS to plan and implement high-quality, engaging activities that promote learning through play; observe, assess and record children’s progress.
  • Advocate for safeguarding: ensure every child feels safe, valued and happy and promote their well‑being.

Job Overview

Qualified Nursery Practitioner (Level3 or above) at Cedars Day Nursery, LeightonBuzzard (LU72PA). Permanent contract, 37.5–40hours per week, 52 weeks per year. Working pattern: varied shifts Monday‑Friday between 07:30‑18:30.

Salary: £27,289.60–£30,929.60 per annum (pro‑rata) or £13.12–£14.87 per hour.
