Nurse Seekers are proud to be recruiting a Qualified Nursery Practitioner on behalf of a quality private day nursery near Worthing, West Sussex. The successful candidate must have a true passion for childcare and be enthusiastic and driven to provide the best early years education and care for children's development.

Requirements

• Cache/NVQ Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Early Years or equivalent
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Passion, creativity, joy, flexibility, reliability, commitment, and good communication skills

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, supportive, and caring environment for young children, ensuring all aspects of each child's development are considered
• Maintain high standards of quality within the Nursery, including environment, resources, and experiences offered to children
• Participate in planning for the EYFS curriculum and maintain accurate children's profiles with observations and development records
• Act as a key person, building relationships with children and their families
• Support good practice regarding special needs and inclusion
• Share responsibility for health, safety, and cleanliness throughout the Nursery, maintaining high hygiene standards
• Ensure children's safety and follow Child Protection procedures when necessary
• Support and mentor colleagues studying for NVQ childcare qualifications
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions, both scheduled and unplanned
