Job summary

Academics is currently recruiting caring, reliable, and qualified Nursery Assistants to support a nurturing nursery in Cheltenham.

This flexible, temporary role offers a chance to work during the summer holidays or term time, with pay £14.24–£16.15 per hour and ongoing support from a dedicated consultant.

Salary will reflect qualifications and experience and follow the client’s pay policy.

Qualifications

• Qualified Nursery Assistant with Level 2/3 childcare qualification.
• Experience in nursery or childcare preferred.
• Passion for working with children.
• Positive, reliable and enthusiastic attitude.
• Understanding of child development and safeguarding.
• Willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS check.

Academics is currently recruiting caring, reliable, and qualified Nursery Assistants to support a nurturing nursery in Cheltenham.

Your Role:

• Support daily nursery routines and activities

What We’re Looking For:

• A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification (or equivalent)

• Good understanding of children’s development and safeguarding
• Willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS check
