Job summary

Academics is seeking a Qualified Nursery Assistant in Cheltenham to support daily nursery routines and activities, and to encourage children through play-based learning. The role offers a flexible, supportive environment for those passionate about early years development.

The successful candidate will have a Level 2/3 childcare qualification (or equivalent), childcare experience preferred, and a positive, reliable attitude with a clear understanding of safeguarding.

Qualifications

• A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification (or equivalent).
• Previous nursery or childcare experience preferred.
• A genuine passion for working with children.
• Positive, reliable, and enthusiastic attitude.
• Good understanding of children's development and safeguarding.
• Willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS check.
