Salary: From £29,250 per year

A wonderful opportunity has arisen in our fantastic, homely nursery in East Grinstead. We are looking for a well-motivated, enthusiastic Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our dynamic team. This role offers flexibility, and we welcome part-time applicants who can choose to work 1-4 days per week, depending on personal preference.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and learning experiences for children in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Maintain excellent communication with parents, providing daily updates on their child\'s progress and activities.
  • Ensure the safety, welfare, and well-being of all children in your care.
  • Support children\'s development through creative, fun, and educational activities.
  • Keep up-to-date records of each child\'s development and milestones.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a positive nursery environment.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NNEB) (required).
  • NVQ Level 2 applicants considered, ideally with experience in caring for babies or toddlers.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a nursery or childcare setting (required).
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
  • Experience with online learning journals (useful but not essential).
Working Hours
  • Standard shift: Monday to Friday, 08:00-18:00 (1-hour lunch break)
  • Part-time applicants can choose to work 1-4 days per week.
