Job Title: Qualified Nursery Practitioner
Location: Burgess Hill
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (Part-time applicants welcome)
Salary: Starting from GBP29,250 per year

A fantastic opportunity is available at our warm and welcoming nursery in Burgess Hill. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our dynamic team. This position offers flexibility, and part-time candidates are encouraged , with options to work 1-4 days per week based on preference.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver high-quality care and educational experiences aligned with the EYFS framework.
* Maintain effective communication with parents, providing daily updates on their child's progress and activities.
* Ensure the safety, well-being, and welfare of all children in your care.
* Support children's development through creative, engaging activities.
* Keep accurate records of each child's growth and milestones.
* Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a positive environment.

Requirements:

* NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NNEB) (required).
* NVQ Level 2 applicants will be considered, ideally with experience in caring for babies or toddlers.
* Minimum of 1-year experience in a nursery or childcare setting (required).
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
* Experience with online learning journals (preferred but not essential).

Working Hours:

* Standard shifts: Monday to Friday, 08:00am-6:00pm (with a 1-hour lunch break).
* Part-time applicants can choose to work 1-4 days per week.
