Job Description:

Role: Qualified Maths Teacher - Secondary

Location: Luton

Start date: As soon as possible

GSL Education is recruiting qualified Maths Teachers to work in our client schools in Luton, starting as soon as possible. Responsibilities include:

• Delivering engaging and effective Maths lessons to students in Years 7 to 11.
• Managing classroom behaviour and fostering a positive learning environment.
• Planning lessons that meet curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning needs.
• Collaborating with support staff and wider school teams.

Essential Requirements:

• Relevant UK teaching qualification, such as PGCE in Secondary Maths with QTS.
• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS.
• Foreign qualified instructors assessed by NARIC are welcome to apply.
• Experience teaching Years 7 to 11 in a school setting.
• Strong commitment to pupil welfare.
• Good behaviour management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to build rapport quickly with students.
• Creative lesson planning skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team, including supporting Support Assistants.
• Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one through GSL Education.
