Are you a passionate and resilient Maths teacher looking to make a lasting difference in the lives of young people?

TeacherActive is proud to be working in partnership with a specialist provision in the Ashton-in-Makerfield area that supports secondary-aged pupils who benefit from a nurturing and trauma-informed approach to education. We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Qualified Maths Teacher to join the team as soon as possible.

The Role:
  • Teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Maths to students with additional social, emotional, and behavioural needs

  • Creating engaging, supportive, and accessible lessons tailored to individual learning styles

  • Using a trauma-informed approach to manage and support challenging behaviours

  • Building strong, positive relationships with students to encourage both academic and personal development

About You:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential

  • Proven experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4

  • Confident in managing challenging behaviour in a calm, empathetic manner

  • Knowledge or experience of trauma-informed teaching practices

  • A team player with a genuine passion for inclusive education
