Job description

The Role:

• Month-end and year-end close - owning the process end to end
• Prepare consolidated monthly management accounts, including detailed analysis & commentary
• Support audit and statutory reporting (FRS 102)
• Oversee GL, journals, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet recs
• Handle VAT & GST returns, supplier payments, and bank reconciliations
• Work with procurement on PO processes and supplier spend
• Constantly look for smarter, faster, and better ways to work

What They're Looking For:

• ACCA / CIMA / ACA qualified
• Strong management accounting experience
• Confident with FRS 102, consolidations, and statutory accounts
• Advanced Excel and experience with systems like Xero or similar
• A proactive mindset - someone who enjoys driving improvements and seeing the bigger picture
• Experience in a PE-backed or service-led business is a bonus
