Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is recruiting for Trainee and Qualified Traffic Management Operatives across the UK. Duties include setting up temporary traffic lights, managing traffic flow, reading CAD drawings, and coordinating with direct and sub-contract labour to meet deadlines.

Candidates must hold Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications, have a valid UK driving licence (max 6 points), and be able to pass Drugs & Alcohol checks, with a commitment to safe working practices and RAMS.

Qualifications

• Experience in traffic management operations.
• Must have Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications.
• Ability to pass Drugs & Alcohol Check.
• Right to Work in UK and Full UK Driving licence (max 6 points).

Responsibilities

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required.
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this.
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager.
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work.
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
