Job summary

Education Matters Group is seeking qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to join our supply team in Ware, Hertfordshire. This role offers flexible hours and a September start, paying £18.00 per hour. You will support a welcoming nursery, help with daily routines, and contribute to a safe, nurturing environment for young children.

Applicants should have a Level 3 EY qualification (or equivalent) and prior nursery experience. DBS via Update Service is desirable.

Qualifications

• This role requires a Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
• Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting is essential.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
• Support children's learning and development through engaging play and activities.
• Assist with daily routines, including mealtimes and personal care where required.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and maintain high standards of care.
• Adapt confidently to the nursery environment while delivering outstanding childcare.

Education Matters is currently seeking passionate, reliable, and qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to join our growing supply team, supporting a welcoming and well-established nursery in Ware, Hertfordshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves working with young children and is looking for flexible work within a supportive nursery environment.

Flexible Working Hours

• Full Day: 8:00am – 6:00pm
• Morning Shift: 8:00am – 1:00pm
• Afternoon Shift: 1:00pm – 6:00pm

Requirements

• A sound understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable (or willingness to obtain one).
