Join Our Team as a High Intensity CBT Therapist - NHS Nottinghamshire Talking Therapies
Were on the lookout for passionate, Qualified High Intensity CBT Therapists to join our dynamic NHS Nottinghamshire Talking Therapies team. If you're driven to make a meaningful impact in your community while working in a supportive, innovative environment - this is your opportunity.
As a High Intensity CBT Therapist with us, you'll play a central role in transforming lives. Youll deliver evidence-based CBT interventions for people experiencing depression and a range of anxiety disorders, in line with NICE guidance. Youll work within a stepped care model, ensuring people receive the least intrusive, most effective treatment tailored to their needs.
This is more than just a remote role. You'll work at least one day a week delivering face to face therapy alongside colleagues in our modern Newark hub (YMCA Newark and Sherwood Community and Activity Village, Lord Hawke Way, Newark NG24 4FH), helping break down barriers and improve accessibility for the people we serve. Youll also work one evening shift a week (12pm-8pm), allowing you to support clients who may not be able to access services during traditional hours.
Main duties of the jobWe have a CBT preceptorship for newly qualified staff and career development opportunities through to senior management and clinical leadership. As you will already know, talking therapies is fast paced. We listen to our staff wellbeing needs and provide free access to an excellent programme of clinical CPD, self-care sessions and high-quality resources to enable you to support people effectively. The role is varied and constantly evolving with the evidence base and guidance and you can be a part of our evolution if you join us.
We will care for you, your role and career development, while you care for the people who need our support.
Together we will evolve and innovate services to help us to face the future needs of people with anxiety disorders and depression.
Together we will increase access; provide the least burdensome, most effective treatments first; and help more people to recover.
