0.65 FTE Grade 8 + SEN

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Habilitation Specialist to join our Vision Impairment Team supporting Children and Young People from 0-25 across the Dudley borough.

Are you passionate about empowering individuals with vision impairments to navigate the world with confidence and independence?We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Habilitation Specialist to join our team, delivering personalised mobility and life skills training that makes a real difference.If you're driven by meaningful work and want to support children and young people in reaching their full potential, this could be your next rewarding step.

The applicant should hold the Habilitation and Disabilities of Sight Graduate Diploma.However, if you hold a Foundation Degree in Rehabilitation Work (Visual Impairment) or a Diploma in Higher Education in Rehabilitation Studies, you'll need to demonstrate a commitment to further study to achieve full habilitation accreditation.
