Job description

James George Recruitment is working exclusively with a Tier 1 Funder in their search for a Qualified Finance Manager. You will manage and lead the legal entity in all aspects of business and financial planning, control, and project/program management. As a subject matter expert, you will ensure alignment with finance and control policies to enable effective and efficient organisational leadership and optimise business results.

Key responsibilities will include:
  1. Finance Leadership: Provide strategic financial guidance and leadership to the organisation, ensuring robust financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Manage a Finance team of 5 people.
  2. Business Partnering: Act as a true business partner to key stakeholders within the local business and across the wider Group, fostering strong collaborative relationships.
  3. Financial Control: Oversee financial control mechanisms to ensure compliance with policies and regulations, safeguarding the organisation’s assets.
  4. Project Management: Lead financial aspects of projects and programs, ensuring timely delivery within budget and to quality standards.
  5. Performance Optimisation: Challenge the business where necessary to drive performance improvements and optimise results.
  6. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders to provide insights and support decision-making, contributing to strategic direction.
