Role: Qualified English Teacher - Secondary

Location: Luton

Start date: As soon as possible

GSL Education is recruiting qualified English Teachers to work in our client schools in Luton, starting as soon as possible. Responsibilities include:

• Delivering engaging English lessons to Years 7 to 11
• Maintaining good behaviour and classroom management
• Planning creative and effective lessons
• Supporting and working with support staff and wider school team

Essential Requirements

• Relevant UK teaching qualification, such as PGCE in Secondary English with QTS
• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS
• Foreign qualified teachers assessed by NARIC are welcome to apply
• Experience teaching Years 7 to 11 in a school setting
• Strong commitment to pupil welfare
• Good curriculum knowledge and behaviour management skills
• Ability to build rapport quickly
• Creative lesson planning skills
• Ability to lead support staff and work as part of a team
• Possession of or willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS
