Job Description:

Established 20 years ago, our client, a specialist in the Mechanical & Electrical sector with a focus on military sites, is looking for Qualified or Approved Electricians to join their team in the South-West region. The role involves predominantly maintenance work (80%) and some installation (20%).

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 5+ years’ experience as a Qualified or Approved Electrician
• 18th Edition (essential), AM2 or Time Served
• 2391 or similar qualification (preferred but not essential)
• Experience working independently or as part of a team
• DBS checked or able to complete vetting (BPSS)
• On-Call rota experience (current rota is 1 in 6)
• Full driving license

Typical duties include:

• Carrying out PPM and upgrades as part of a team of 6
• Maintaining site standards and health & safety compliance
• Communicating effectively with clients on site
• Seeking training and qualifications for career progression
• Working in the South-West region (dependent on home location)

Benefits include:

• Salary up to £42,000 (DOE)

• 40 hours per week plus overtime
