What will you be doing?

• Be an integral part in the creation of our Educational Psychology Service.
• Be part of the strategic projects the Educational Psychology Service lead on.
• Develop and apply your knowledge and skills in assessment, monitoring and tracking progress of children and young people with SEN.
• Support in developing and monitoring service planning, including KPI’s and statutory timeframes.
• Be part of developing a traded offer.
• Represent the EP Service at key meetings and partnerships.
• Work with senior colleagues to drive forward the Education Strategy.
• Work with senior colleagues to improve SEN provision across the Island and contribute towards our Safety Valve work.
• Have a wide range of work including statutory and non-statutory work.
  
  

About You

• You will need to be a professionally qualified Educational Psychologist
• |Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Ability to access face to face meetings locally.
• High quality verbal and written communication skills.
• A commitment to ensuring children and young people across the Isle of Wight achieve their best outcomes and develop into independent adults.
