Job summary

Empowering Learning Ltd. is recruiting qualified Early Years Practitioners for a large nursery near Arrowe Park, Wirral.

You will support babies, toddlers and preschoolers, plan engaging activities and work in accordance with the EYFS, while promoting child safety and wellbeing. The role offers flexible full-time and part-time hours, with ongoing professional development and a dedicated consultant.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification and have experience in an early years or nursery setting.
• Knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements.
• A caring, dependable and professional approach.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• An enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for one.
• Suitable professional references.

Responsibilities

• Supporting babies, toddlers and preschool-aged children.
• Planning and delivering engaging early years activities.
• Working in accordance with the EYFS.
• Encouraging children’s communication, independence and confidence.
• Supporting personal care, mealtimes and nursery routines.
• Observing and recording children’s development.
• Working collaboratively with parents and colleagues.
• Maintaining high safeguarding and health and safety standards.
