Job summary

Spring Nurseries by Action for Children in Braintree, Essex, is seeking an Early Years Practitioner (qualified Level 3) to join our dedicated team. You’ll work in the baby room, support development and deliver engaging activities within the EYFS framework, helping children learn, grow and thrive from day one.

You’ll plan age-appropriate experiences, build trusting relationships with children and families, and contribute to a warm, inclusive nursery environment.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification required.
• Understanding of children\'s development 0-5 and how this informs practice.
• Experience planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities.
• Understanding of the EYFS and how to support learning through play.
• Awareness of SEND and inclusive support in early years settings.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage children to learn through play.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with children, helping them feel safe, valued and confident.
• Observe and support children\'s development, recognise their individual needs, interests and progress.
• Work closely with colleagues and families to provide consistent, high-quality care and learning.
• Create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
